Please describe your job in only one sentence and tell us what the most important goal of this work is.
My work focuses on exoplanets’ detection and characterization through their orbital dynamics, to help at understanding how planetary systems form and evolve.
How did you get into this research/work field?
I take my main motivation from this fundamental open question of humankind: where do we come from?
What would be the greatest discovery you would like to see in your life time?
The confirmation that we, living beings of the Earth, are not alone in this vast universe would constitute a milestone of our history.
You work for the NCCR PlanetS. What do you think will the NCCR enable you to do you couldn’t do without it?
The NCCR provides me with a unique interdisciplinary environment. The range of potential investigations and collaborations is huge.
