PlanetS General Assembly 8: POSTPONED Copy (for archive purposes)
**********************************************************************************************
Dear all, please note the General Assembly 8 has been POSTPONED. The new date will be communicated once we know it.
**********************************************************************************************
The 8th NCCR PlanetS General Assembly will take place at the Hotel Sunstar Grindelwald on January 24-27, 2022.
All NCCR members and associates are invited to join.
External members can participate by invitation by a PI and at their own cost.
The second day of the GA will be dedicated to internal science talks by PhD Students & Postdocs in priority. In addition up to 36 posters can be displayed. Please use the registration form to submit an abstract or a poster title. Authors of selected contributions will be informed by mid-January.
Location
Hotel Sunstar Grindelwald
Dorfstrasse 168
3818 Grindelwald
Switzerland

Important Dates
30.11.2021, Registration opens
13.12.2021, Registration closes
23.01.2022, Make Covid self-test
24.01.2022, Start General Assembly
27.01.2022, End General Assembly
CANCELLATION POLICY:
1) We will apply the 2G rule for the meeting. In other words, to attend the meeting you will need to be fully vaccinated (at least 2x) or have recovered from Covid.
2) We will provide a self-test in advance of the meeting to your Institute, and the result of the self-test (to be made on sunday 23/01) will have to be negative. If in addition you can do a PCR test, that is even better.
3) As cancellation will lead to some costs, registration implies a real commitment. The SNSF does not allow us to use PlanetS funding in case of cancellation. Hence, not showing up at the meeting because you changed your mind for whatever reason will probably have financial consequences for you. Obviously, in case of sickness or other real emergencies this does not apply but you might need to provide a medical certificate in order to avoid paying.
4) In case the Federal Council bans meetings of this size, no cancellation cost will be charged.
