Use microorganisms as a benchmark to validate the use of spectropolarimetry in the detection of homochirality as a unique signature for life
How did you get into this research/work field?
After a PhD focusing on sporulation as a bacterial survival strategy, I wanted to continue working on the tremendous survival abitability of microorganisms and their high potential to colonise other planets than Earth
What would be the greatest discovery you would like to see in your life time?
Microorganisms active on other planets than Earth

Prove that microorganisms are key players on Earth but also beyond
