Please describe your job in only one sentence and tell us what the most important goal of this work is.
I am improving a numerical model which simulates planet formation from the time they are in their parent disc until the disc disappears. It helps us to check how much the previous models were precise.

How did you get into this research/work field?
Enchanted by the beauty of clear starry nights of my home town, encouraged by the religion and culture, and supported by a family who respects my curiosity, I was dreaming of being an astronomer. I was an amateur astronomer before my master, but I decided to try what “real” astronomers do. Since the protoplanetary discs and exoplanets were new and hot topics at that time, I chose to work on protoplanetary discs.

What would be the greatest discovery you would like to see in your life time?
Finding life on exoplanets.

You work for the NCCR PlanetS. What do you think will the NCCR enable you to do you couldn’t do without it?
NCCR has provided me a dynamic atmosphere with a broad network to almost all fields of planetary science.
