Our third Site Visit will take place on June 8+9, 2017 at the University of Bern.
It is important that a maximum number of NCCR members participate to this event.
This means on the first day, Thursday June 8, 2017, all of you (in particular PhD students, postdocs and senior scientists) are supposed to be there.
For the second day, Friday, June 9, 2017, only project/platform leaders, the programme office, and people from platforms have to attend.
If you are not able to attend, please inform Janine Jungo as soon as possible.

The first presentation will start at 10:00.
Please find the program below. We will have printed versions of the program at the registration desk.
Venue:
Day 1, Thursday June 8, 2017, will take place in the
Building “Exakte Wissenschaften”

3012 Bern
We will have a registration desk in the foyer of this building, the so-called Wandelhalle.
Day 2, Friday, June 9, 2017, will take place in our new office building at the
Gesellschaftsstrasse 6
3012 Bern, just across the street.
Travel expenses:
NCCR members:
The NCCR will reimburse travel expenses for NCCR members. Please claim refunding at your home institution, where a collective invoice will be issued to the programme office in Bern.
Associates:
Travel costs have to be paid by your institute or another source outside of the NCCR.
How to get there by public transportation:
The building Exakte Wissenschaften is just above the train station “Bern, Hauptbahnhof”. Please find a small map attached.

For parking, you have 2 possibilities:
– park at the Bahnhof Parking http://www.bahnhofparking.ch/site.php
– park in the “Blaue Zone”. For the Blaue Zone, you can buy parking cards at the Bernmobil ticket machines (the closest one is at the Falkenplatz). Rides with your private car will only be reimbursed in justified cases (e.g. cost saving compared to equivalent of a halfprice-trainticket or carpooling). CHF 0.70 / kilometer can be reimbursed in such cases.
