How did you get into this research/work field?
I was fascinated by ancient civilizations, many of them described Sirius as a double star with a hidden planet. That sparked in me the curiosity to explore the real physics of exoplanets in binary systems.
What would be the greatest discovery you would like to see in your life time?
A habitable exoplanet with detectable biosignature – even better if in a binary system !
You work for the NCCR PlanetS. What do you think will the NCCR enable you to do you couldn’t do without it?
The NCCR gives me access to a strong network of researchers, collaborative opportunities across institutions, and exposure to interdisciplinary perspectives that help deepen and broaden my knowledge in my field |
