Integrated 1-5 Micron Test bench for the Characterization of Cryogenic Optical Elements

LOSSy
The Laboratory for Outflow Studies of Sublimating icy material (LOSSy) consists in a series of devices and protocols to prepare icy analogues for various Solar System objects and instruments to measure their light reflectance properties as a function of various parameters. The characterizations include bidirectional reflectance distribution functions (BRDF), imaging spectrometry and hyper spectral imaging, polarized phase curves, optical coherence tomography (OCT).
