Integrated 1-5 Micron Test bench for the Characterization of Cryogenic Optical Elements

The facility allows to characterize infrared optics, both reflective and transmissive, at cryogenic operating temperatures (down to 30 K) for both ground- and space-based applications.

LOSSy

The Laboratory for Outflow Studies of Sublimating icy material (LOSSy) consists in a series of devices and protocols to prepare icy analogues for various Solar System objects and instruments to measure their light reflectance properties as a function of various parameters. The characterizations include bidirectional reflectance distribution functions (BRDF), imaging spectrometry and hyper spectral imaging, polarized phase curves, optical coherence tomography (OCT).
