| I am working with spectropolarimetry to develop a remote sensing method to detect life beyond Earth. | |

| I first studied biology and then biological oceanography, before switching fields a bit to get involved in astrobiology. | |
| What would be the greatest discovery you would like to see in your life time? | |
| The discovery of life beyond Earth, and the accompanying awareness that much more life may be out there. | |
| You work for the NCCR PlanetS. What do you think will the NCCR enable you to do you couldn’t do without it? | |
| Learning from a wide range of colleagues in a variety of scientific fields. Truly great discoveries can only be made on an interdisciplinary basis. | |
