DESCRIPTION:The fourth NCCR PlanetS General Assembly will take place at the Hotel Sunstar in Grindelwald (BE) on Wednesday-Friday\, 24.-26.01.2018.\nAll NCCR members\, associates and external members are invited to join. Other interested persons may join the assembly at their own costs. If you cannot attend or have any changes\, please inform Janine Jungo no later than Monday\, January 8\, 2018 at noon. If you fail to cancel within this deadline\, the costs will be charged to you via bill sent to the address you have indicated in the registration form (except for sickness\, etc.).. \nCost coverage:\nNCCR members:\nThe NCCR Head office will cover accommodation and travel expenses for all NCCR members and the Advisory board.\n>Accomodation/meals: Your registration will be forwarded to the hotel\, so no need to contact the hotel directly. The costs for the hotel will be charged directly to the NCCR.\n>Travel: The costs for travel can be claimed at your home institution\, where collective invoices for reimbursement will be issued to the NCCR Head office in Bern. \nAssociates/CSH Fellows:\nAssociates and CSH Fellows are invited to attend the General Assembly\, but have to be funded on local level (local level funding includes any non-NCCR funding as well as any NCCR local project budget).\nNot sure if you’re an associate? Luggage can be stored in one of the Ski-rooms. If we are lucky\, some rooms might be ready when you arrive. \nCheck-out:\nCheck-out until 11:00. You may leave luggage at the reception or in the plenum at the back. \nAccess plan\nAccess by public transportation:\n \nTake a train from Bern to Interlaken Ost. Change the train from Interlaken Ost to Grindelwald.\nFrom Grindelwald train station\, it is only a 7 Minute walk to the Hotel. \nWe have reserved compartments labelled “NCCR PlanetS” for the connections below.\nWe have made reservations for all who have indicated that they will arrive by public transportation on Wednesday and leave on Friday (ca. 70 people).\n***This is only a reservation\, please buy a corresponding ticket. Please check www.sbb.ch before taking the train\, platforms could changed.** \n \n  \n \nAccess by car:\nThe parking outside is free-of-charge. Covered parking is available at a charge of CHF 15.00/per day. If you prefer the covered parking\, park your car in front of the Hotel and notify the personnel at the reception desk. The Hotel personnel will park the car for you.\nPlease keep in mind that the expenses for rides with your private car will only be reimbursed (Fr. 0.70/ kilometer) if it’s cheaper than public transportation; e.g. if one participant can transport 2-3 fellow participants or equipment for the event to the destination. \nPlanetS-GA-4_How-to-get-there.pdf \nProgram\nPlease find the program below. Dorn or C. Mordasini\, please contact them directly. \n  \nPoster (info for those who have registered to bring a Poster. All poster spots are filled.)\nPlease note that the poster spots are distributed in the lobby as well as down stairs in front and in the plenum.\nAlso 2 poster boards (for 4 poster) are only available on Thursday morning. \n\nIn the lobby\, you can hang up the poster as soon as you arrive. There will be poster boards on which you can hang up your poster with pins.\nDownstairs\, you can hang up the posters only from 13:30 on\, as before the room is still used by another group.
